Profile

Pearl Tsheko is a visionary Botswana entrepreneur, creative leader, and dedicated mother. She is the founder of Black Fabrick, a dynamic graphic design, printing, and branding company that provides high-quality visual solutions to businesses of all sizes.

Pearl officially launched Black Fabrick in 2020 after transitioning from the corporate world, bringing with her over 11 years of experience as an Accounting Technician. Her strong financial background, combined with her academic qualifications—a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Leadership & Management) and a Diploma in AAT—has enabled her to build and sustain a resilient, growth-oriented business. Over the past six years, she has successfully led and grown her own company, turning her entrepreneurial vision into a thriving enterprise.

Through Black Fabrick, Pearl delivers innovative branding, marketing materials, signage, apparel printing, and promotional products that help businesses elevate their visibility and compete effectively in the marketplace. Beyond serving clients, her work contributes to local economic development through job creation and by nurturing young talent within her team.

As a mother and mentor, Pearl embodies resilience, creativity, and leadership. She balances the demands of entrepreneurship with raising her family, while actively inspiring and supporting other women to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions. Her journey—building a business from the ground up—is a testament to the power of vision, determination, and purpose.

Being recognized in the 2026 Umi100 celebration highlights her impact as a woman in business and her commitment to building a legacy that empowers others, particularly African women, to thrive both professionally and personally.
