Beatha Shitemba

Beatha Shitemba is a Namibian entrepreneur and founder of Nel’s Babies & Kiddies, a homegrown brand that designs and manufactures high quality baby and children’s products, from custom nursery décor to affordable petroleum jelly and other essentials. After more than a decade in the corporate world and inspired by her experience as a mother, she launched her business in 2017 to fill a gap in the market for locally made baby products and support parents with stylish, functional items.

Balancing business growth with family life, Beatha champions self reliance, creativity, and community support, employing women from her local community and working to expand her brand’s footprint both in Namibia and beyond. Her journey from corporate professional to hands on founder reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of African mothers who build purposeful businesses that benefit families and economies alike.
