Solange Mabignath currently serves as the President of the High Authority of Safety and Facilitation at Libreville Leon Mba International Airport, where she plays a key role in overseeing aviation security and operational efficiency. In addition to this, she is the President of the Albertine Amissa Foundation Bongo Ondimba and the Global Business Roundtable Gabon, demonstrating her commitment to social and economic development. Her leadership in these organizations reflects her dedication to advancing both public service and business initiatives in Gabon. Before assuming her current roles, Solange held several significant positions in Gabonese politics and administration. Under President Ali Bongo Ondimba’s leadership, she was appointed as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance in 2008, focusing on privatization. Prior to this, she served as the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Education in 2005, overseeing primary education reforms. She also has a background in diplomacy, having served as Vice-Consul to France and UNESCO. A long-time member of the Gabonese Democratic Party, she has played an active role in municipal governance in Franceville. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to public service while balancing her role as a mother of four children.
