Edith Kahbang Walla, is a renowned Cameroonian entrepreneur, political leader, activist, and advocate for women’s leadership and civic empowerment whose work has resonated across Africa and beyond. She is the founder and CEO of STRATEGIES, a consulting firm she established in 1995 that specializes in leadership development, organizational strategy, and capacity building for governments, international institutions, and private sector partners on multiple continents. She made history as the first woman to run for President of the Republic of Cameroon in 2011 and currently serves as President of the Cameroon People’s Party. Her dynamic career has earned her international recognition, including the Vital Voices Global Leadership Award, the DVF Award, and being named one of the 150 Women Who Shake the World by Newsweek and The Daily Beast.
