Dr. Diane Karusisi

Diane Karusisi is a distinguished Rwandan banker, economist, and corporate leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Kigali, the country’s largest financial institution. With a strong academic background that includes a PhD in Econometrics and extensive experience in Rwanda’s financial and public sectors, she has previously served as Chief Business Officer at the bank and Director General of the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda. Under her leadership, the Bank of Kigali has strengthened its digital banking services, expanded financial inclusion, and reinforced its position as a key driver of Rwanda’s economic growth.

Diane Karusisi continues to inspire the next generation of African women through her dedication to excellence, discipline, and service.
