Ms. Catherine Krobo Edusei

Ms. Catherine Krobo Edusei is a Ghanaian agribusiness entrepreneur, founder, and Managing Director of Eden Tree Limited, a leading fresh produce company in Ghana that produces, packages, and distributes high-quality herbs, fruits, and vegetables to supermarkets, retailers, and catering firms. She began her career in banking in the United Kingdom and, after a decade abroad, returned to Ghana in the late 1990s with a mission to improve access to fresh, healthy food, a vision that led her to launch Eden Tree in 1997 and later an accompanying restaurant venture. By connecting local farmers with urban markets and expanding food value chains, she has helped strengthen food systems and create sustainable jobs in agribusiness.

Catherine has received multiple awards for her contributions to urban farming, agribusiness development, and national economic growth, including Agribusiness Entrepreneur of the Year and recognition from the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana for her outstanding contribution to nation-building. Beyond growing her business, she supports community development through training, job creation, and corporate social responsibility initiatives that uplift women and families across regions of Ghana.
