Halima Aliko Dangote is a prominent business woman currently serving as the Group Executive Director of Dangote Industries Limited, one of Africa’s largest conglomerates. In this role, she oversees the commercial operations of the group, driving strategic growth and development across various sectors. Her leadership extends to board positions at NASCON Allied Industries Plc, Dangote Cement Plc, and Dangote Industries Ltd. Additionally, she is a trustee of the Aliko Dangote Foundation, which focuses on philanthropic initiatives in health, education, and economic empowerment. Halima holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the American Intercontinental University in London and an MBA from Webster Graduate School, also in the UK. She has further honed her leadership skills through programs at Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management, and Columbia Business School. Before joining Dangote Industries in 2008, she worked as a business analyst with KPMG Professional Services. Beyond her corporate engagements, Halima is a member of Women Corporate Directors and serves as the president of the board of the Africa Center in New York, reflecting her commitment to promoting African culture and business on the global stage. She is married and mom to two kids.
