Dr. Hadia Hosny

Hadia Hosny is one of Africa’s most accomplished badminton players and the first Egyptian and Arab athlete to compete in multiple Olympic Games Beijing 2008, London 2012, Tokyo 2020. She has won numerous African Championships and African Games titles, earning recognition for her skill, dedication, and leadership in sport.

Beyond competition, Hadia runs the Hadia Hosny Badminton Academy, mentoring young athletes and promoting girls’ participation in sports. She is also an assistant lecturer in pharmacology and an advocate for youth and women’s empowerment in Egypt. Her journey embodies resilience, passion, and the impact African mothers can make in sports and education.
