Orode Uduaghan

Orode is a dynamic leader known for her solution-oriented approach, extensive experience in public sector engagement, grassroots politics, and human capital development solutions. With over 15 years of dedicated service in community development and public leadership, Orode is fueled by a passion for equity and justice, particularly in increasing women’s participation in policy design, politics, and governance.

Her expertise extends to designing and implementing impactful programs aimed at improving the lives of people, especially in marginalized areas, covering various sectors and social development goals (SDGs). In 2007, Orode founded the Pink Pearl Foundation to advocate for early detection and treatment of breast and cervical cancer in Nigeria. Through the foundation’s efforts, over 1.4 million women across Africa have been directly and indirectly impacted through 320 outreaches and programs.
Orode’s commitment to social impact extends to her roles on the boards of impact and education-focused organizations. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Dream from the Slum since 2014, she has spearheaded initiatives like Heart2Feed, benefiting over 22,000 children and families in slum areas across Nigeria. Additionally, Orode serves on the board of Brainy Luminary School in Warri, a free school for disadvantaged children, and is a member of the governing board at Master Care International School in Asaba.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Orode is a decorated entrepreneur, devoted mother, dedicated public servant, influential politician, health advocate, and published author.
