Tokunbo is a strong advocate for the advancement of women, especially mothers, in the tech industry.She recognizes the unique challenges that they face and believes that employers often unfairly stereotype them as less committed to their work.
Tokunbo also started ‘The Coding Mum’, a community that provides support for mothers interested in starting new careers in tech. Through her community, many mothers have been able to get trained and land great jobs as engineers at companies like MTN.
