Nangula Nelulu Uaandja

Nangula, a Chartered Accountant, serves as the CEO and Chairperson of the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), a Public Entity under the Presidency. With over 20 years of experience, she was previously a Partner at PwC Namibia, where she handled auditing and diverse advisory services. Nangula earned recognition as Namibia’s Businesswoman of the Year in 2011 and has held key roles in professional bodies and committees.

She holds several “firsts” in Namibia, including being the first black female Chartered Accountant, the first female and black Namibian PwC Managing Partner, and the first female President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia. Driven by concerns about unemployment, inequality, and poverty in Namibia, Nangula pursued further studies focusing on collaborative approaches between the public and private sectors for inclusive economic growth.

In December 2020, she transitioned from PwC to her current role at NIPDB, aiming to address these challenges through investment promotion and development. Nangula, a mother of three boys, remains committed to driving positive change in Namibia’s economic landscape.
