Mirna Arif

Arif brings over two decades of technology industry expertise, garnered from roles in multinational organizations and public sector entities spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to her tenure at Microsoft, she held senior positions at GE Oil & Gas, Emerson Automation Solutions, and Surface Business Group. Passionate about digital transformation, Arif is dedicated to assisting Egyptian organizations in accelerating their digital journey.

Arif is a fervent advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, serving as a board member of Egypt Women on Boards Observatory, Egypt’s Chamber of Information Technology & Communication, and the Advisory Board of UNICEF GenU Egypt (Shabab Balad). Her leadership in the Egyptian technology sector is widely respected, highlighted by her appointment as General Manager of Microsoft Egypt.

Under Arif’s stewardship, Microsoft Egypt has achieved significant milestones in advancing Egyptian businesses and the nation’s embrace of the digital future. She has spearheaded the launch of various initiatives and programs, such as the Microsoft Egypt Innovation Center and the Microsoft Egypt TechSpark Accelerator. Arif’s exceptional contributions have earned her numerous awards and accolades, including recognition as one of the Women Forum’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Egypt, the Women in Tech Global Leadership Award, and the Egyptian Women Forum’s Distinguished Female Leader.

In addition to her professional achievements, Arif is a devoted mother of two children.
