Jocelyne Muhutu-Remy is at the helm of Facebook’s Strategic Media Partnerships across Sub-Saharan Africa, leveraging her extensive background in media and entertainment. With prior roles at Disney, Viacom, and Thomson Reuters, she has played a pivotal role in bringing entertainment programming, television channels, and international news to audiences across the continent.

Beginning her career as a journalist, primarily at Reuters television, Jocelyne’s passion for storytelling and empowering African media has been a driving force throughout her journey. She pursued her education in International Relations and Journalism in Paris, France, before embarking on her professional endeavours.

As a committed pan-Africanist, Jocelyne has dedicated herself to amplifying Africa’s voice on the global stage. Hailing from Rwanda, she has called various countries home, including Ethiopia, France, Kenya, and currently South Africa, where she resides. Her diverse experiences and unwavering dedication continue to shape her impactful contributions to the media landscape in Africa and beyond.
