Bridgette Radebe

Bridgette Radebe, born on February 26, 1960, began her career as a miner in the 1980s, overseeing individual shaft mining operations and supplying materials for larger mining operations in South Africa under contract. She later founded Mmakau Mining, a mining company specializing in exploration and production of platinum, gold, and chrome.

Radebe holds prominent positions in the mining industry, serving as the President of the South African Mining Development Association. Her husband, Jeff Radebe, formerly held the position of South Africa’s Minister in the Presidency. Additionally, she is a member of the New Africa Mining Fund and sits on the Sappi Board.

Outside her professional endeavors, Bridgette Radebe is also a devoted mother.
