Mrs. Mdingase Tewete

Mrs. Mdingase Tewete is a Malawian entrepreneur, agribusiness pioneer, and founder of Kombeza Foods Ltd, a dairy food processing company she launched in 2017 to provide affordable, nutritious dairy products, especially yoghurt, while creating economic opportunities in her community. Starting with just a small daily output, her company has grown significantly, sourcing milk from more than 200 small-holder farmers and employing over 30 people across Malawi. Her leadership in agribusiness has supported local farmers and helped strengthen food processing value chains in the country.

Mdingase is passionate about empowering youth and women to become financially independent through entrepreneurship and skills development. Her business has won recognition and support, including grants from development partners that have enabled Kombeza Foods to scale production and impact, making her a standout example of purposeful leadership and community impact among African women entrepreneurs.
