Tribute

Tshegofatso 'Tshego' Dludla makes STEM education accessible across South Africa through RoboSTEAM Train while decoding the complexities of motherhood with the same analytical mind she brings to programming. We celebrate the coding problems solved between family storytelling, the robotics principles explained alongside life lessons, and how she applies her most creative problem-solving not to technical challenges but to nurturing a curious, confident child.

Profile

Tshegofatso ‘Tshego’ Dludla is the founder and CEO of RoboSTEAM Train, a company dedicated to making mathematics and science accessible and engaging for children through coding and robotics education. Her journey into educational innovation began with the establishment of The Tshala Foundation, a non-profit organization she founded to address challenges faced by underprivileged children in grasping fundamental mathematical concepts. With a B-Tech in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Digital Technology, and over a decade of experience as an electronics technologist, Tshego has effectively combined her technical expertise with a passion for community development. Her curriculum not only teaches the fundamentals but also incorporates maths and science as it is done in class so that the children can appreciate and enjoy STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) better and possibly improve their marks even in school. Beyond her professional endeavors, Tshego is a mother, a role she embraces alongside her mission to empower the next generation of innovators.
